About shazi - Owner/ Head Choreographer

Kate a graduate of Georgia Southern University with a degree in Health Education and Promotion. During her 4 years in the undergraduate program, she became a 3 Time NCA National Champion with the Georgia Southern University All-Girl squad. She is now a graduate of the Masters of Public Health program at GSU. Before she started my career at Georgia Southern, Kate cheered sideline and competed Varsity CO-Ed, 4 times at the GHSA State Championship, where she represented Winder-Barrow High School. When she wasn’t showing ultimate devotion to her High School program, she would compete at various All-Star competitions with Pro Cheer Inc.

"My love for cheerleading derives from characteristics I gained through this sport such as commitment, loyalty and determination. I became passionate about coaching after witnessing my athletes bettering themselves from hard work and dedication. I also enjoy influencing my cheerleaders to become strong leaders not only in cheerleading, but in the community. The sport I chose to love just so happened to be cheerleading, and I take pride in giving my girls the keys to being successful. Encouraging my athletes and seeing them reach their highest potential is the most rewarding part of coaching. I look forward to coaching and watching you all thrive to become the best cheerleader you can be."

Shazi started her cheerleading journey with Middle GA All-Stars Cheer Extreme from 1996-1999, as a base, after a very successful career as a Jr. Olympian Gymnast.

Upon graduating from high school, she was selected for the Georgia Southern University cheerleading squad, where she earned the honor of Captain from 2001-2004. Shazi is proud to announce that she was the founder of the now 4 Time National Champion GSU All Girls squad.

While in Statesboro, GA, Shazi joined Cheer South All-Stars (1999-2004) as an Assistant Coach. During her career at Cheer South All-Stars, she was coach and head choreographer for 3 Individual Routines, 3 High School Routines and 4 All-Star Routines that all won National Titles.

Shazi was a National Cheerleading Association (NCA) Instructor from 1999-2005 in which she traveled the country teaching hundreds of camps and earned a Head Instructor position from 2001-2005. Shazi was also selected as a 3 Time NCA All-American Cheerleader.

Currently, in addition to traveling the world teaching cheer camps and choreography for DanceCheerMove, Shazi owns an All Star cheerleading gym in Savannah, GA, Crowned Elite Athletics, where she offers all star cheerleading and tumbling programs, with a focus on sportsmanship, character, and integrity. This cheerleading choreographer and coach also travels the world offering choreography, skills camps, and consulting services to all star gyms and school programs.
